Evaluating the forward-looking readiness of Jordanian institutions through the transportation sector and the economic modernization vision (2033)

Abstract

Jordanian institutions used foresight as a national strategy to support decision- makers in situations that require long periods of time, such as long-term planning for the transport sector in Jordan within the vision of economic modernization 2033, in order to develop and develop skills, and spread the culture of excellence in Jordan by spreading awareness Concepts of outstanding performance, creativity and quality in accordance with international models of excellence, and provide a guiding reference and standard bases for measuring the performance of government agencies, institutions and official and private bodies to promote positive competition among them, and measure the extent of progress and development in the performance of government agencies based on the standards and requirements of the new Jordanian government excellence model ( KACE- 5.0), which represents the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence, Government Performance and Transparency, various quality certificates, and the ISO certificate.

This study evaluates the readiness of the Jordanian government and private institutions within the transport sector to adopt and manage foresight methods in their strategies to achieve the strategic goals specified in the vision of economic modernization above.
