Abstract

This research examines the methodology of historians in Arab-Islamic civilization regarding the formulation of the movement of history and the interpretation of its path through the stages of the prophets' calls. The research stems from a fundamental problem: that history in the classical Islamic perspective is not merely a narration of events, but rather a circular or repetitive movement linked to the emergence of prophets and their struggle with their people. The study relied on the descriptive-analytical approach to trace these stages in the major historical books, concluding that the "Prophetic" is the primary driver of historical time for these historians.
