Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Management Information Systems (MIS) on the effectiveness of administrative decision-making, with an applied focus on the Commercial farmerBank of Sudan – Damazin Branch. The research is based on the hypothesis that there is a statistically significant relationship between the use of MIS and various elements of decision-making effectiveness, including technology utilization, human resource training, internet speed, and career advancement. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology and utilized a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool, targeting a sample of bank employees. Findings revealed that the use of technology in MIS significantly contributes to decision-making effectiveness, with a mean score of 4.17. Additionally, training programs were found to enhance work performance, with a mean score of 4.47. The study concludes that MIS positively influences administrative decision-making and recommends enhancing the use of modern technologies, expanding training programs, and improving digital infrastructure within banking institutions.
