Abstract

It is worth noting that the research deals with the subject of consistency and harmony in the Holy Quran, focusing on artistic imagery as a primary tool for achieving this consistency. The research also shows how the Holy Quran uses language with its eloquence and the science of rhetoric, its words, pronouns and letters to create an exceptional miraculous text in which the word is in consistency with the meaning in the verses in a harmony that makes them like one word. In addition, the research confirms that consistency and harmony in the Holy Quran are far removed from verbal embellishment, artistic craftsmanship and affectation in formulating phrases; because they seek to convey meanings that direct declarative language is incapable of. The Quranic message that affects hearts and minds requires an unparalleled style that engraves the recited words in the reader’s heart like engraving on stone. This interaction between the word, meaning, image, message, word and psychological impact is considered one of the most prominent evidences of Quranic creativity and miracle.
