Abstract

       (The current research aims to identify the Growth Mindset of Students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and to determine the significance of differences in developmental mindset according to the gender variable (male-female). To achieve these objectives, the researcher adopted the Carol S. Dweck 2016 Developmental Mindset Scale, which is based on her theory and consists of eight items. The scale was administered to a sample of 139 male and female students from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, randomly selected for the 2025/2026 academic year. The results showed the following:

 

1- Students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences possess a developmental mindset.

 

2- There are statistically significant differences in mindset according to the gender variable (male-female), favoring males.
