The role of the endowment in preserving the Islamic community in Western society

Abstract

The endowment is one of the institutions that contributed to building Islamic civilization, and was a source of funding for many vital social facilities, such as religious, educational, cultural, health and other facilities.

Therefore, this study came to try to highlight the benefits that the endowment contributes to serving the Islamic community, and how it is possible to benefit from the advanced Western experience in the field of endowment funds, in their subject matter and management. and an attempt to activate the role of the endowment, expand its participation, and diversify its fields to resume advancement and provide development requirements.
