Abstract

Contemporary scientific research is undergoing profound transformations driven by the digital revolution, rapid societal changes, and the increasing complexity of legal and human issues. In this context, traditional disciplinary approaches have become insufficient to understand complex phenomena or provide effective solutions. Consequently, cognitive integration has emerged as a new epistemological and methodological approach aimed at transcending rigid disciplinary boundaries through the construction of multidimensional knowledge capable of fostering innovation and driving societal transformation.

This paper seeks to examine the impact of cognitive integration on the renewal of legal scientific research by analyzing the evolving interaction between law and the social, digital, and human sciences. It also explores how interdisciplinary legal research can contribute to the development of more responsive policies and legislation capable of addressing contemporary societal challenges, particularly in the fields of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, social justice, governance, and human rights.

The study is based on the assumption that the future of legal scientific research no longer relies on disciplinary isolation, but rather on the construction of integrative knowledge models capable of understanding the complexity of societal transformations and producing innovative and sustainable legal solutions. The paper adopts both analytical and foresight-based approaches in order to anticipate the future trajectories of legal research within the knowledge society.

Research Problem

To what extent can cognitive integration contribute to reshaping legal scientific research in a way that enables the production of interdisciplinary knowledge capable of innovation, adapting to societal transformations, and driving social change?
