“Electronic Management of land registration procedures in Morocco: between the reality of digitalization and the challenges of implementation”

Abstract

Law No. 14.07, amending and supplementing the Land Registration Law, introduced several new provisions in line with legislative reforms aimed at protecting real estate ownership. An examination of its provisions reveals that the law laid the groundwork for the digitization of services provided by the National Agency for Land Registry, Land Surveying, and Cartography (ANCFCC).

Article 106 stipulates that: "The National Agency for Land Registry, Land Surveying, and Cartography may, electronically, establish registration applications, land titles and their equivalents, certificates of registration, and the registers stipulated in this law, in accordance with the conditions and formalities specified in a regulatory text."
