Abstract

In the modern corporate landscape, the financial department is no longer merely a center for record-keeping but a strategic hub for organizational success. This article investigates the critical role that financial managers' leadership styles play in fostering Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among subordinates. By synthesizing Social Exchange Theory and Transformational Leadership models, the study demonstrates how discretionary employee efforts -triggered by effective leadership- directly correlate with enhanced departmental productivity. The findings suggest that "soft" leadership skills are essential "hard" drivers of fiscal efficiency and error reduction.
