Textual Construction Patterns in the Works of Moroccan Poet "Mohamed Al-Sabbagh"

Abstract

This research examines the patterns of textual construction in the works of the Moroccan poet Mohamed Al-Sabbagh, with a focus on the practical aspect. The study is divided into three main sections:  

1. The Segment: Explored from two primary perspectives: the segment and the writing self, and the segment as an independent unit separate from other segments.  

2. Lexicon: The study highlights how the poet's writing is characterized by a modernizing tone through his use of a lexicon marked by innovation, closely tied to the imagination in its romantic specificity, far removed from the tone of traditional lexicon and its linguistic manifestations. This section addresses the topic from various angles, including personal lexicon, nature lexicon, and mystical lexicon.  

3. Rhythm: The final section delves into the element of rhythm, emphasizing its central importance in the construction of poetic texts and its active role in sustaining the creative and artistic pulse of the work. The study seeks to elucidate some rhythmic undulations that characterize Mohamed Al-Sabbagh's texts, expressing his unique perspective and visionary outlook. Accordingly, the analysis of rhythm is approached from fundamental perspectives, such as the rhythm of the self through the threshold of the title and its division between negative and positive rhythms, repetition, linkage and embedding, and dialogue.
