Abstract

Scientific research is the most important tool for developing society in general and developing its economy in particular. This is confirmed by many developed countries that have taken scientific research as a means to achieve development, especially economic development. As for the Arab countries, despite many attempts to pay attention to scientific research, they are still not Able to produce what is required of it that meets the need for development despite its vast and limitless wealth, In addition to preparing universities, research centers and researchers, the real work is what is being accomplished on the ground, which requires us to discuss and answer the following questions: The relationship between scientific research in achieving prosperity and economic progress in countries, and what is the number of scientific publications and patents in Arab countries compared to other countries: Advanced, These efforts resulted in a set of recommendations and solutions, including: providing incentives for migrants to benefit from science and technology in their countries of origin; enhancing the importance of scientific research by raising the quality of education and updating curricula; establishing a network to promote joint cooperation; and implementing pioneering projects aimed at encouraging innovation and facilitating the commercialization of scientific research and development results.
