The study titled "Theacles Facing Voluntary Work and Their Impact on the Effectiveness of University Youth Participation in Voluntary Activities – A Study Applied to the Faculty of Arts at Sana'a University" aims at exploring the key challenges that hinder university students from engaging in voluntary work and to assess how these challenges affect their performance in such activities. Using a descriptive analytical approach and a questionnaire for data collection, the study found that the primary individual-level obstacles include time conflicts between volunteering and academic or work responsibilities, as well as numerous family obligations. At the societal level, limited awareness of the role of voluntary work in supporting development and the lack of nearby volunteer organizations were highlighted. Institutionally, low participation was attributed to the absence of training programs for volunteers before task assignment, favoritism in task distribution, and the appointment of unqualified relatives to volunteer positions
