Abstract

Hassan al-Banna believed in Islam as a doctrine that governs the orientations of Muslims and a comprehensive approach to all aspects of life. He called for the establishment of an Islamic state, which represents the fundamental pillar of Hassan al-Banna’s thought, as it is the only guarantee for implementing Islamic rule, as well as being a starting point towards restoring the Islamic Caliphate thus link it to political action as an integral part of the Islamic religion. From this standpoint, Hassan al-Banna gave great importance to the Islamic state and placed it on the list of reform priorities in the Muslim Brotherhood’s work methodology and developed programs and plans to achieve this Islamic goal and work to spread Islam, unify Muslims, and restore the Islamic renaissance, in addition to liberating the Islamic world from foreign control.
