Abstract:

             The study aimed to highlight the importance of the role that social entrepreneurship can play in the development path of local communities and achieve development goals in light of the widespread social solidarity economy as an alternative economic model to the traditional development model, so that today social entrepreneurship has become of great importance as it involves a strategy to achieve sustainable development and provide permanent solutions to social problems and enhance the social solidarity economy. Accordingly, social solidarity economy initiatives have recently begun to be active in Arab societies through social entrepreneurship organizations, but these initiatives in reality still face serious challenges, including that social entrepreneurship is still a relatively emerging sector in the Arab world.
